Nicoletti is one of the most important Italian companies producing and commercializing high-quality upholstered furniture such as sofas and armchairs. Its two main product ranges are leather sofas which account for 90% of the production and micro fiber and fabric sofas accounting for 10% of the production.

The company was founded by Giuseppe Nicoletti in 1967. Its headquarters are in the Industrial Sofa District, in the area between Matera, Santeramo and Altamura.

NICOLETTI is the only company in the world within the furniture sector that has obtained three different certifications:
In 1996 it was one of the first Italian companies to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001;
In 2001, it was the first company in the sector to obtain UNI EN ISO 14001, the Italian certification of environmental management systems;
In 2002, it was the one and only company in the world within the furniture sector to obtain SA8000 ethic certification.
